COUNTY PORT AUTHORITY RAB collects data on respondents that are necessary for the fulfillment of the services we provide, and we undertake to protect the personal data of current and future respondents in accordance with REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND COUNCIL ON THE PROTECTION OF INDIVIDUALS WITH REGARD TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND FREE MOVEMENT OF SUCH DATA (GDPR) (hereinafter: Regulation). Data processing is subject to lawful processing based on Article 6 of the Regulation.

The personal data protection officer performs the following duties:

  • takes care of the legality of the processing of personal data in terms of compliance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act and other regulations governing issues of personal data processing,
  • warns the manager of the collection of personal data on the necessity of applying regulations on the protection of personal data in cases of planning and actions that may have an impact on issues of privacy and protection of personal data,
  • informs all persons employed in the processing of personal data of their legal obligations for the purpose of personal data protection,
  • takes care of the fulfillment of obligations from Articles 14 and 17 of the Personal Data Protection Act,
  • enables the exercise of the data subject's rights from Articles 19 and 20 of the Personal Data Protection Act,
  • cooperates with the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data in connection with the implementation of supervision over the processing of personal data.

The personal data protection officer is obliged to maintain the confidentiality of all information and data he learns in the performance of his duties. This obligation continues even after the termination of the duties of the personal data protection officer.
