The port area consists of the coastal land part and the associated water area.
By transferring the boundaries of the port area to the cadastral plan, it follows that the land part of the port area consists of cadastral parcels KO Barbat, namely: 811/1 part and a part that is not on the plan. The port consists of operational ferry banks and the harbor plateau. The operating shores are 48+90+30+15=183 meters long, the depth along the shore is from 2 to 3,5 meters, and the capacity of mooring 6 ferries. The shores are massive concrete structures, and the harbor plateau is an asphalt surface.
The harbor is in very good condition. The harbor is equipped with devices for mooring boats, fenders, ramps for ferries, a harbor light and a slipway. The port also has public lighting, two smaller brick buildings in the function of the port and a connection to the island road. The port is located on a deserted part of the island and is 10 kilometers from the town of Rab.
